5 Night Zimbabwe Safari and Victoria Falls Package that spends three nights at Imbabala Lodge (Including a Chobe Day Trip) & two nights at either The Elephant Camp or Old Drift Lodge.

Elephant Camp and Old Drift Lodge are all-inclusive luxury camps in Victoria Falls; that offer the convenience of being close enough to the Falls however away from the hustle and bustle of town.

Imbabala Lodge is closer to the Botswana border than the town of Victoria Falls itself and offers a myriad of activities including tiger fishing; which has become such a sought after activity in the Zambezi region. It offers not only the opportunity to relax; but also some of the best game viewing and bird watching in the region; all in the seclusion of a private National Parks concession. The 5,000 acre concession borders the Chobe Forest Reserve; which is home to a vast elephant population, and has 14 kilometers of private Zambezi River frontage.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Scheduled road transfer from Victoria Falls, Livingstone, or Kasane Airport to Imbabala Lodge. Imbabala is a small unpretentious safari lodge offering a true “African Safari Experience”; on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.

Overnight at Imbabala Lodge on a full board basis including listed activities.

Day 2

Early morning game drive, brunch at Imbabala Lodge, afternoon high tea before departing on a river safari; on the Zambezi River. Included activities at Imbabala are:
A morning or afternoon game drive
A morning or afternoon river safari
A night drive.

Optional activities are birding, walking safaris, and fishing for the fighting tiger fish.

Overnight at Imbabala Lodge on a full board basis including listed activities

Day 3

Today, guests can choose to either enjoy activities as offered at Imbabala OR; go on a full-day trip to the Chobe National Park; which includes a river cruise, lunch, and a game drive. The Chobe safari excludes Park Fees of US$ 15 per person.

Day 4

Scheduled road transfer from Imbabala to The Elephant Camp or Old Drift Lodge.

En-route, guests will stop and enjoy a Tour of the Falls. The Victoria Falls is now in its 150 millionth year and reaches its peak in about May each year. It’s a truly awe-inspiring experience. The sight, the sound, the smell; the humbling feeling that here indeed is nature’s ‘supreme masterpiece’. No photograph can begin to depict the vastness and nothing prepares you for your first sight.

Accompanied through the Rainforest by a qualified guide who will give you a brief history of the Falls themselves; as well as detail the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife, and other points of interest. Guides are also happy to assist clients with photographs while visiting this most spectacular of waterfalls. Raincoats are provided when needed.

Guests can also enjoy a lunch at the Lookout Café; before or after the Tour of the Falls. En route to camp; clients may go past the ‘Big Tree’; where they may stop and take photos.

Day 5

Activities offered at The Elephant Camp or Old Drift Lodge alternatively; take part in additional activities in Victoria Falls; not included in the package, such as the helicopter flight, Zambezi Royal Sundowner cruise, or Highwire Activities.

Overnight at Elephant Camp or Old Drift Lodge on a full board basis including scheduled activities.

Day 6

Enjoy a morning inclusive activity at The Elephant Camp or Old Drift Lodge; before transferring to either Victoria Falls or Livingstone Airports.

Rate Includes

The above rates include 5 nights accommodation. The lodges have different inclusions so we have listed them here:

Imbabala Lodge:
3 nights accommodation and meals; including early morning tea, brunch or lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner.
Daily activities: Game drive, River safaris; both of these are either in the morning or afternoon; and a night drive. The rates also include drinks on activities (alcoholic and nonalcoholic).

The Elephant Camp and Old Drift Lodge:
2 nights accommodation and all meals, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (excluding premium brands); with complimentary mini bars in the rooms, in-house activities*, shuttle transfers to / from Victoria Falls Town.

*In-House Activities at both camps: A guided tour of the Falls, and a Lunch at the Lookout Cafe.

*In-House Activities at Old Drift Lodge: Two scheduled game activities in the Zambezi National Park per day; choose between a game drive, River Safaris, or Guided Walking Safaris. These are offered in the morning or the afternoon.

*In-House Activities at The Elephant Camp: Visit the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust and the Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary and Orphanage, Cocktails & Canapés at the Batoka Gorge, Game Drives on the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary, Birding and Nature Walks on the concession, a local rural village tour, and a Victoria Falls Canopy Tour.

Transfers
Scheduled arrival and departure airport transfers from either Victoria Falls or Livingstone, intercamp scheduled road transfers. When staying at Imbabala Lodge, the transfer may be from Kasane too.
