Differences between Rovos Rail and The Blue Train

  • The Blue Train offers baths in one De Luxe Suite and all the Luxury Suites; whereas Rovos Rail only offers a bath in the Royal Suite.
  • The Blue Train has large viewing windows in all suites that do not open; while Rovos Rail has windows that can open. This can be nice if you want to get fresh air but don’t forget to close the window when you go for meals etc.
  • TV’s / Entertainment centers are in the Blue Train suites.
  • Rovos Rail suites have a lounge and bed area; except in the Pullman Suites. Whereas The Blue Train suites always are a lounge during the day and converted to a bedroom at night.
