Africa A-Z was established in 2004 by Jenny McGregor. Jenny was born in Durban and traveled extensively, living for some time in the UK, Iceland, and Portugal. But Africa eventually won out as her home of choice, and Africa A-Z came to be. Through a passion for African travel and its amazing people. This was because we realized that traveling in Africa is not as simple as booking a hotel online. It isn’t a destination where you simply book a hotel and hope everything connects. Flights, road transfers, border crossings and safari logistics all need to work together seamlessly. That’s where our experience makes the difference.

As an independent specialist, we deliberately keep our business personal. Every itinerary is planned by experienced Africa travel specialists who take the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for. Many of our clients return to us year after year or recommend us to their friends and family—a reflection of the service we strive to provide.
Until recently, 95% of our business was through creating customized packages in Africa for our overseas travel agents clients. But lately, more and more direct clients have found our services. This is mainly due to this .travel website, which we began shortly after COVID. A never ending project that we are forever updating and expanding on. We began in 2004 as a .co.za and then went to .com but have always been Africa A-Z.
While we are based in South Africa; we have the same (or better) rates as operators in all Southern & Eastern African countries.
