Please bear in mind, very often a night is required in Windhoek. Either on the way in or on the way out, or both. Therefore, it is important that you give us your flight arrival and departure times so we can best advise on whether it is required.
Accommodation in parks and attractions are not like large city hotels. This means there is limited space available, so it is best to book well in advance. This is especially a problem during the high season, which is June – October. This is Namibia’s dry winter. There is very little chance of rain, and waterholes become scarce. Therefore, wildlife is easy to find as they are where the water is found! The days are warm while the nights are pleasantly cool. There is very little chance of rain.
Another busy time is over the Christmas break (in the Southern Hemisphere, this is usually from mid-December to mid-January).
