An Isalo tour will offer spectacular scenery with its sandstone cliffs and variation of rock color, lush green forests, and open savannah. Isalo is known as the Colorado of Madagascar. It is great for hiking, mountain biking, and horse riding. A stack of rocks creates a rectangular frame through which to watch a stunning sunset. Called the “Window of Isalo”.
Isalo National Park is found just off the main National Route 7 in Southern Madagascar.
The biodiversity in the park is fantastic with an astonishing array of wildlife, birdlife, and plants found within the park. Search for the uniquely patterned Rainbow Frog or the Mouse Lemur.
