The Makgadikgadi Pans are a great place to add to your Botswana tour. These pans are a vast and complex network of shimmering white flats during the dry season. Morphing into a system of bountiful watering holes for wildlife during the wet season.
The dry season from April to October is great for quad biking or horse riding on the salt pans. Or, visiting the meerkats that inhabit this area. We can also arrange a sleep out under the stars on the pans.
The wet season sees Africa’s second largest wildebeest and zebra migration. This is between November and March.
