Africa A-Z is a destination management company that sells holiday packages/tours in Southern and Eastern Africa. We use a wide variety of suppliers who all have their own terms and conditions which we have to adhere to. It is the responsibility of the traveler to familiarize themself with all the terms and conditions of the specific suppliers when confirming any booking.

How to book and processes
We always confirm availability of services (accommodation/tours, etc) once you advise you would like to book. Once availability is confirmed, we will invoice you for all requested services. A deposit will then be paid by yourselves to secure the booking. This is usually 20 – 25% depending on suppliers’ terms and conditions. Please note there may be a time delay in receiving monies from abroad. Therefore, it may take a few days to a week to receive and then pay out the deposits. This is why it is always best to book well in advance. We will keep you updated as we receive and make the payments out. The balance amount will be due 6 – 8 weeks before your travel dates.
Any changes to the quotation requested by the traveler, and resulting in additional costs, will be billed to the traveler. Prices are subject to change in the event of government-imposed taxes, fuel price increases, airfares, hotel charges, tourism levies, or the introduction of national, regional, or local taxes or levies of any kind. We will communicate these to you in writing as soon as we are notified by the supplier (whenever possible).
In the event of there being an unscheduled cancellation/postponement/extension to the booking caused by flight delays, acts of nature, virus pandemics, strikes, terrorism or any other cause that is beyond the control of Africa A-Z, expenses relating to these unscheduled cancellations/postponements/extensions (hotel accommodation, etc.) will be for the client’s account.
All travelers must obtain comprehensive travel insurance.
Bookings made are governed by the laws of South Africa. The Parties hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Magistrate’s Court regarding any action and/or proceedings based on/or arising from these Terms and Conditions.
Terms & Conditions: Payment Methods
We accept bank transfers and all major credit cards (such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express by special arrangement), if accompanied by satisfactory identification. For bank transfers, we will send you the banking details. For credit card payments, we will send a secure link. Please note that credit card payments may be subject to a card fee, which your travel planner will communicate with you. All payments must be cleared in our account before travel documents will be issued to you.
