In Africa, rain means life. And life depends on it… This is the concept behind Mvua African Rain SPA. A balanced oasis to calm the body and senses. Guests can let themselves be pampered by the skillful hands of our experts at the wellness center. Immersed in a relaxing atmosphere and enveloped by the fragrance of local spices, indigenous and natural ingredients. The SPA features two thalassotherapy salt water pools with various jets and treatments to improve blood circulation, muscle toning and oxygenation. Signature treatments, a beauty center and an gym are also available.

Hell’s Kitchen – Marafa Kanyon

Don’t miss a half day trip to Marafa Kanyon. An hour away from Malindi along an interesting drive through great plains, villages, and acacia woods. Also known as Hell’s Kitchen. It is an odd sandstone canyon that might be Kenya’s best kept-secret. It gets its name from an ancient legend which tells of a very wealthy family who once lived in this area. They had so many cows that they used the milk not to drink but to wash their clothes. The legend goes that God made them fall into this canyon where the sun’s heat reaches very high temperatures.

The mix of about five different colors of sandstone offers a magical view at sunset. It is as if the rocks have caught fire! It resembles the famous Grand Canyon in the US.

Its origins date back to the twelfth century, but it was reconstructed with new walls during the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.

Terrace Restaurant

You can choose to dine on the open air terrace or inside the air conditioned restaurant, overlooking the swimming pool. The cuisine has an Italian flair to it with a selection of fresh fish and seafood. Service is table d’hote style.

Onda Restaurant

Located directly on the beach overlooking the Indian Ocean serves a variety of light meals and sea food with a’la carte menu. Reservation is required with meals at a charge.

Savanna Restaurant

Serves breakfast, lunch and dinner at buffet, offering a fusion of international and Italian cuisine. The majority of the vegetables are sourced from the in house organic farm.

Single Supplement: 50%
A 3rd adult in the room gets a 30% reduction on the per person sharing rate.
