Thanda Safari Wedding (Kwa-Zulu Natal)

At Thanda Safari we have a unique wedding package centered around the celebrated ubuntu; which in Zulu culture is a shared belief in the importance of compassion, humanity, and community. Thanda Safari is a unique bush experience in the heart of Northern Zululand in Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. Whichever Thanda Safari accommodation option you chose at this exclusive game reserve. It will surprise and delight you at every turn. There is Thanda Safari Lodge with its private Villa or Thanda Tented Camp. Thanda Safari Game Reserve can accommodate up to 60 x guests and 30 x children in its three accommodation options. This makes it ideal for weddings or an intimate renewal of vows. However, you would never realize this; as each lodge is small and intimate.

Imagine Zulu dancers leading you down the aisle; picture yourself exchanging your vows in a sheltered bush location under the ancient marula trees; followed by a safari-style reception in a starlit boma or breathtaking venue overlooking the African bush. Thanda Safari Wedding Packages

Thanda Safari allows the overflow of wedding guests to stay off-site when all available beds have been secured and occupied by the wedding guests exclusively. The cost, per person for off-site wedding guests will be R 990 per person. This is to cover their wedding meal, drinks, and transfers.

Thanda Safari Zulu Blessing Package

A traditional Zulu Blessing is performed by a local Zulu. This is typically held under a Marula tree which is regarded as a sacred tree amongst the Zulus. And as the ‘fertility tree’ or ‘marriage tree’.

Thanda Safari Kanye Wedding Package

Kanye means ‘Together’ in isiZulu. This magnificent wedding package includes three game drives and delicious cuisine for up to 80 guests. For those who prefer a smaller, more intimate wedding or vow renewal ceremony, talk to us and we can make special arrangements.

Book for a minimum stay of two nights for the Kanye Package.

Services of a dedicated Wedding Planner who will help you plan each detail of your special day; including a wedding program and recommendations of preferred wedding suppliers,

Bridal couples are welcome to use their own wedding service providers, provided a meeting can be arranged with the Thanda wedding planner, who will explain the logistics which are unique to Thanda Safari.
