Including breeding herds of elephants, leopards, spotted hyenas, giraffes, large buffalo herds, and white rhinos. With its name meaning lion in the local language Shangaan; Ngala lives up to its promise. Supporting several large prides of these powerful cats. African wild dogs are also spotted moving through the reserve.
While Ngala Tented Camp never lets you forget that you are in the wild. There is nothing primitive about this chic camp. The romance of canvas with flickering lanterns. Combines with the simplicity of polished wooden decks, textured fabrics, and clean lines. A lap pool merges with the contours of the riverbank for laid-back game viewing.

The Ngala Treehouse Experience
Experience the romance of Africa under the stars in the luxurious Ngala Treehouse. A remote, yet safe retreat in the middle of the reserve, far from Wi-Fi and artificial light.
The treehouse features a hot running shower and flushing toilets. Cocooned in natural bush surroundings, this 4-level treehouse features two sleep areas: Level 3 is covered and weatherproof, with a king-size bed, and level 4, a sleep-out platform under a retractable awning.
Toast the sunset with sun downer drinks and snacks on the upper deck. Enjoy a starlit picnic dinner. You’re assured of an intimate wilderness experience, completely off the grid, themed in luxury and exclusivity.
