andBeyond Phinda Zuka Lodge sits in the west of Phinda Private Game Reserve. It is bordered by lush green valleys and densely wooded hills studded with aloes. We highly recommend it for families booking the whole lodge on a sole-use basis. Or; it is also available for individual suite bookings.
Phinda Private Game Reserve showcases one of the continent’s finest game viewing experiences and is home to Africa’s Big Five. As well as 436 bird species. The Game Reserve encompasses an impressive 28,555 hectares (70,560 acres) of protected wildlife land in the Zulu Kingdom, KwaZulu Natal.
Guest areas include an interactive café style kitchen, indoor sitting and dining areas, and an intimate library. A swimming pool with an extended wooden deck overlooks the surrounding wilderness.
andBeyond Phinda Zuka Lodge has four individual thatched bush suites. Including a 2 bedroom family suite. The lodge also has disabled access (with assistance) and WiFi is available in the suites and the guest areas. This intimate lodge is ideal for family gatherings and special occasion safaris.

The charming suites cluster around a swampy marsh which turns into a popular waterhole during the rainy season. Therefore wildlife visits regularly. Also the bird life is spectacular. Each 80 m2 (861 ft2) cottage boasts a luxurious en suite bathroom. Complete with a circular bath chamber, indoor shower, and twin hand basins. Lounge chairs on private verandas provide space for relaxing moments. Or even an afternoon siesta.

The Family Suite is 147 m2 (1,582 ft2) with two inter leading rooms (a main suite and a dedicated children’s room). Ideal for shared adventure and quiet retreat. Offering space to reconnect – together and in your own time. A 3rd child is on request.
