The suites capture the splendor and solitude of the desert. With 10 x beautifully appointed stone, and glass suites; spread out along the curve of the escarpment. That open onto the ever changing outlooks. Each spacious, air conditioned, suite offers a secluded, shaded wraparound veranda. Complete with a private plunge pool, a living room with a fireplace, and an en-suite bathroom. With indoor and outdoor rain shower offering 180º desert views. The suites also have a large retractable skylight for stargazing from your bed.

All suites include discrete music systems and customized personal bars. Each suite is like its own solar power plant. Producing enough energy to not only power the air conditioning, and all the super comforts of a luxury lodge. But also the water treatment and recycling systems.

The two bedroom Star Dune Suite is an ideal option for families or groups of friends. The Star Dune Suite consists of two suites that are linked by a covered walkway. Along this walkway are an indoor lounge and an outdoor sunken lounge for get-togethers. The combined amenities of this extended accommodation provide the perfect space for all to enjoy. For those family groups, the &Beyond guides and lodge team will provide a host of fun and interactive children’s activities. The Star Dune Suite sleeps a maximum of 4 x adults or 2 x adults and 2 x children. 3 children may be possible on request.

Stay at Sossusvlei Desert Lodge for a 5 star dining experience. The interactive kitchen serves fresh and innovative dishes that will satisfy even the most discerning travelers.  Even allowing guests to create their own dishes and menus if so desired.

Alternatively, other dining spaces are in different locations inside and outside the lodge. Therefore, guests can dine in different spaces. Before sitting down for dinner; you are welcome to visit the walk-in wine cellar. And pick out a bottle of wine to accompany your meal.

A single supplement of 50% is only charged from the third single room per booking.

1st May until 31st October and 21st December until 10th January every year:
A single supplement of 50% applies to all single rooms. A single supplement will be charged when an adult is sharing with an infant.

Please note the Namibian Dollar (N$) is equivalent to the South African Rand.

Sossusvlei Desert Lodge Rates Include:

Accommodation, three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas, and coffees. It also includes refreshments on scenic nature drives, laundry, emergency medical evacuation insurance, and transfers to and from the lodge airstrip.

Child Policy at &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge (Namibia Family Holiday)

Children up to 5 years old stay free of charge. Subject to the availability of cots/triple room.
From 6 – 16 years, kids sharing with 1 or 2 adults pay 50% of the full adult rate. Triple rooms are subject to availability.
From 6 – 16 years in own room: The 1st child pays the adult rate. While the 2nd & 3rd child pays 50% of the adult rate. A maximum of 3 children per room. Subject to triple room availability.

Child Activities Policy

Children up to 5 years old are not permitted on activities. However; scenic nature drives may be requested for children from 3 to 5 years old.

Soar across the mountain range toward Namibia’s vast red dunes. Take in unforgettable aerial views of the towering star dunes and Devil’s Fork. As you follow the dune corridor to the hauntingly beautiful Deadvlei and the iconic Big Daddy dune. The journey continues west over an endless sea of sand. Eventually reaching the coastline, where dramatic dunes plunge into the ocean. On the return flight, pause for a mountaintop sundowner, toasting to the breathtaking scenery.

Option 3: 150 minute shipwreck flight at an additional cost of N$ 24 500 per person.
This flight offers the best of both worlds. Soar over a rugged mountain range toward Namibia’s iconic red dunes. Taking in dramatic aerial views of the star dunes, Devil’s Fork, Big Daddy, and the hauntingly beautiful Deadvlei. Continue west over a vast sea of sand before reaching the coastline, where towering dunes cascade into the ocean. Flying low along the shore, pass over a sprawling seal colony. Before arriving at the eerie remains of the Eduard Bohlen shipwreck. The return flight lasts 50 minutes. Offering additional views of the red dunes and culminating in a celebratory mountaintop sundowner with snacks.
