Weddings at Angama Amboseli will not be an official marriage. You are advised to be legally married in your home country before or after coming to Kenya.

Angama Amboseli Wedding Package
At Angama Amboseli there are no costs attached to venue hire. Wedding party guests simply pay for their accommodation. For sole use of the guest area for the reception, you will need to reserve the whole camp – exclusive use wedding. If it is just for a few people, there is no need to hold the area.
No two weddings are the same, but each includes lodge staff, facilities and the following thoughtful touches to make it feel effortless and grounded:

About the flowers
As Kenya is famous for its flower production, specifically roses, Angama Amboseli uses only locally grown flowers for weddings. Certain flowers hold up to the African sun better than others, and the Angama team can guide you on the best options. A variety of blooms can be sourced on request, as well as rose petals. Over the years of hosting weddings at Angama, they have done the due diligence to find some of the best flower suppliers who can readily provide couples with the following blooms:

About the wedding cake
The pastry team at Angama Amboseli have perfected a beautiful signature wedding cake — a Persian Love Cake.
This rose-scented cake is the softest chiffon with pops of cardamom and saffron cream. Rose has a very strong connection with Kenya, one of the world’s biggest rose exporters. The spices are influenced by coastal Swahili culture and flavors. Set on a beautiful marble cake stand and adorned with fresh roses.
Should the bridal couple prefer a different wedding cake, this is, of course, no problem, as the pastry team is well-versed in most cake flavors and decorates all cakes elegantly.

Day One
After a warm welcome to Angama Amboseli, settle into your elephant-inspired Guest Suites. All with Mount Kilimanjaro in sight. Get your first taste of the African bush with a private safari in the Sanctuary.
Dine in the Gallery where timeless moments captured by resident photographers and art adorn the walls. Telling the story of the lodge and its surrounds.
Day Two
It’s wedding day! Meet the day with the African dawn, and roll out of bed into the safari vehicle for a PJ safari. Bear witness to the sights and sounds as sunlight creeps in from the east. With the option to have a photographer snap photos of you in your matching pajamas with Kili in the distance. Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch before returning to your suites to ready yourselves for the wedding celebration.
The wedding ceremony can take place on the Guest Area lawn. Surrounded by a Fever Tree forest and framed by Mount Kilimanjaro and often visited by curious wildlife. This is the most iconic ceremony location, which can host both the ceremony and/or the reception. It is suitable for up to 20 guests. The Mnara, indoor Guest Area or Gallery are all beautiful wet weather options that can be kept as standby venues should it rain on the day.
The Mnara is a covered viewing tower which can accommodate up to 20 people. The indoor Guest Area is also suitable for 20 guests. The Gallery is suitable for an intimate wedding of 6 people.
After exchanging your vows, slip away on a private safari deeper into the Sanctuary for wedding photographs. Return to enjoy field games and cocktails with your guests and loved ones.
Wedding fun activities
After which you’ll take another slow bumble through Kimana. Keeping an eye out for lions, en route to the Mnara for sundowners. Sip sparkling wine while watching the African sun descend. As elephants parade through the grasslands and birds of prey circle smoothly overhead. Finally, end your day with a candlelit dinner on the Guest Area lawn — quietly private or joyfully shared.

Day Three
After an evening of festivities, take a slow morning. Rise to a beautifully prepared breakfast followed by time lounging at the pool, with a view of the plains beyond. Yoga is on offer at the Mnara, and for those eager to get creative, paint with water colours. Or take a photography lesson with one of the lodges experts. In the afternoon, venture out on a walking safari. Immersing yourself in the scenery and getting a closer look at some of the smaller details of life.
Day Four
Wake with the birds for your final private safari. Visit Big Life Foundation, our conservation partner, to learn about some of the programs they run in the Amboseli ecosystem. Linger under the Tortilis trees for your last lunch. Indulge in an afternoon in-suite spa treatment, ensuring ultimate relaxation before your holiday comes to an end. Sleep soundly one more night with a view of magnificent Kili.
Day Five
Sadly today you depart, leaving with memories to last a lifetime.
