Namibia Self-drive Tour

Namibia is ideal for a selfdrive tour. For the adventurers, hiring a car and driving around the country is the best experience. We recommend a 4×4, but at least a 2×4. Because Namibia is such a vast country, we suggest allowing a little extra time for your tour. The main thing to remember is that most of the roads are gravel. You are not traveling on tarred motorways. Expect bumpy conditions, especially in peak season. This is because the roads are well-used and can get quite corrugated, adding to the bumpiness! This is also why we don’t recommend trying to tour Namibia in a rush. You need to allow for breakdowns and punctures! It is part of the adventure!

Take your time and really get to experience this incredibly beautiful destination. From the Fish River Canyon to the Skeleton Coast. And don’t miss out on Etosha National Park, Sossusvlei, and Swakopmund.
