Breezes Beach Club and Spa is an ideal choice for those in search of a romantic getaway. It lies along a pristine and untouched Bwejuu Beach, on the South East coast of Zanzibar island. The 40 x Deluxe Rooms are on the ground floor of the bungalow (see above picture). They are spacious at 48 m2 with a small terrace. Tastefully decorated in ivory tones, with cotton throws, teak wood finishes and Zanzibar carvings.

The 20 x Suites are on upper floor of bungalows (see above picture) with a larger terrace with a private sunbathing area. The Suites are the same on the interior as the Deluxe rooms but also have a walk in dressing room and a larger bathroom. There is a covered outdoor lounge area on the balcony. This makes these suites 84 m2.

You can do as much or as little as you want on your holiday at Breezes Beach Club and Spa. If you’d like to create some vibrant memories of your stay on the magical Spice Isle there’s a whole range of tours and day trips on offer. Visit a local school or mosque and the local stalls. Or we can arrange a visit to a villagers own home. The proceeds of this tour go direct to the village fund enabling the community to create their own health, educational and financial facilities.
Enjoy a chef masterclass on Swahili cuisine or take a cooking class. And learn about the Zanzibari spices. Climb a palm and pick your own coconut (if you can). Weave yourself a sun hat or palm mat while learning about palm weaving.
Board a beautiful Swahili dhow and take off for a gentle sail down the spectacular coastline. And into the mangrove swamps that are so characteristic of the island. Serene, yet alive with birds, the mangroves are a source of food and timber for the traditional Swahili homes. Carry out some traditional hand line fishing. Back at the hotel, you can also discuss with Chef just how you’d like the fish to be presented for your dinner. The local guides will be pleased to impart their knowledge on the marine and wildlife of these special wilderness places.
Visit the UNESCO World Heritage, Stone Town. A cultural wonderland that has to be seen to be believed. Or, visit one of the last remaining tropical forests on the planet to see Red Colobus Monkeys & Forest Trails. The Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is the island’s only national park.

Africa’s smallest most romantic restaurant by the beach for 2 to 4 guests offering personalized service and a special menu. And The Dhow Bar which is centered around a traditional Swahili Dhow. This bar has a sand floor and is a perfect relaxed venue to take refuge from the sun.

Breezes Beach Club and Spa is about an hour’s drive from Zanzibar International Airport. Zanzibar airport enjoys daily connections from major East African cities. Such as Kilimanjaro, Arusha, Dar Es Salaam, Nairobi, and Mombasa. Furthermore many international airlines land directly on the island. Making Europe, Asia and North America within relatively easy reach.
The hotel is located approximately 6 kilometers south of Stone Town, the island capital. Transfers can be arranged to and from the airport.
