The Victoria Falls Hotel has been the address of choice for more than a century for royal families, statesmen, celebrities, and the discerning traveler. It occupies a fine location from which to explore the magical wonders of untamed Africa. Just a ten-minute walk from Victoria Falls using the hotel’s private pathway. Popularly known as “the grand old lady of the Falls”, it is situated in the Victoria Falls National Park, a world heritage site. And is a member of the exclusive Leading Hotels of the World group
Serene Lily ponds, arched loggias, and broad verandas; offering magnificent vistas seem custom-built for a spot of high tea. Or a relaxed gin and tonic. For more than 110 years, The Victoria Falls Hotel has been a luxury icon in Africa.
A large swimming pool, two tennis courts, a Spa, a mini fitness room, a library, reading rooms, and a chapel are part of the complex. In addition, there is a gift shop, and a hairdresser. The Stone Dynamics studio has stone sculptures on display and also The Larry Norton Gallery. Larry has become Zimbabwe’s most acclaimed wildlife artist. He has staged successful exhibitions around the world, including in London and New York.
Golfers can enjoy 18 holes on the championship course of the nearby sister hotel, Elephant Hills Resort.
But it is the Victoria Falls Hotel that remains the major attraction for visitors. Waking up to the sound of “the smoke that thunders”, seeing the sun rise beneath the mist of one of the seven natural wonders of the world and the lunar rainbow at night; all the while soaking up the history and ambiance of a bygone era with the convenience of the new, is more than unforgettable. It is unique.

Style, glamour and sophistication are hallmarks of the Executive Suites, which are luxuriously appointed with warm, inviting décor. Fine dining at Victoria Falls Hotel
Dining at Jungle Junction offers an unforgettable experience, gazing over the gorge and the spray of the Falls, with a fusion of flavors of Africa. Stanley’s Terrace offers tantalizingly more than just our famous High Tea. It is also a magically delightful setting for light meals throughout the day. Traditional afternoon tea is served daily, with spectacular views of the Victoria Falls Bridge and the spray from the Falls below.
