Ocean Safari (2 Hours)

Turtle Walk (Seasonal)
White Pearl is home to one of the richest turtle nesting sites in southern Mozambique. From November until February each year, guests have the opportunity to witness an extraordinary feat of nature first-hand. Loggerhead and Leatherback Turtles head to this stretch of coast to lay their eggs. And, a few weeks later, the hatchlings make their first ever voyage to the ocean. The Resort has partnered with the Southern Mozambique Marine Turtle Nesting Monitoring, Tagging & Conservation Program to monitor and protect these endangered creatures.

From time to time, assorted ocean debris can, unfortunately, wash up into the bay. If the state of the world’s oceans and beaches is a matter you wish to get involved in, there are large litter collection bags available. Do your bit to help save marine life. A feel-good holiday experience. Alternatively, guests can join the staff who tackle the problem as a team every Saturday.

Bush Or Beach Horse Riding (1 hour)
Explore the nearby bush trail on horseback. Weaving through indigenous flora and fauna and enjoying spectacular views of the ocean from high-up vantage points. Or gallop along the pristine beach and explore the beautiful natural surroundings. All rides are professionally managed to ensure an enjoyable experience for all ages and levels of experience. A weight restriction of 80kg – 100kg applies to all horse riders.
Guided Rocky Shore Experience (1 hour)
This experience is for guests who are passionately curious about the little things in life. And want to learn more about how animals have adapted to thrive in this constantly changing environment. The activity has a storytelling component that engages mythology. Rock exploration footwear is provided at the activities center.
Deep-Sea Fishing (6 hours)
An adventure that starts early in the morning. Refreshments and a packed lunch will be provided. At the end of the day, we hope you will return with an amazing catch for the Chef to prepare. Fresh from the sea.

White Pearl Resorts offers unique diving experiences at one of the world’s top pinnacle reefs. A variety of dive spots offer something for everyone. From exhilarating shark sightings to multitudes of fish and vibrant corals. A professional, safe, and world-class interpretive diving experience.
Experienced dive instructors will show you brightly colored underwater corals and an array of brilliantly marked fish. Launching is directly from the beach at the resort. With its clear waters and accessible reefs; this is the ideal dive destination for both beginners and specialized divers.
PADI Resort courses are also available and diving equipment can be hired from the Dive Centre.
Mozambique Family Holiday
White Pearl Resorts has become a popular family destination. The family experience at White Pearl is different than traditional family resorts where you don’t see your kids all day. Here you can spend quality time with your loved ones and create lasting memories in this little piece of paradise.
As White Pearl Resorts is not a traditional family resort and often has honeymooners and couples too; there is a dedicated area for family dining. Children under the age of 10 years are not permitted in the main dining areas in the evenings. A babysitter can be arranged on request if parents wish to dine as a couple. The creative chef can prepare special meals for your children.
All suites can accommodate a maximum of two adults with two children under 16 years. A separate bed (¾ bed) will be provided. A camp cot is also available on request. If you have more than two children, we will be happy to provide you with adjacent suites (subject to availability). The Resort is very safe and the staff will go out of their way to meet the unique needs of your family.
Children up to 5 years stay free. While children from 6 to 11 years will pay a meal supplement. Teenagers between 12 to 16 years pay 50% of the adult rate.
If a second room is booked, 1 x child pays the adult per person sharing rate and 1 x child pays the age-applicable rate.
Kids Activities
An exciting nautical kid’s program guided by the activities team is filled with fun, educational activities. Encouraging children to explore the mysteries and wonders of Ponta Mamoli’s land and sea. It promises to keep kids of all ages entertained. Kayaking, body boarding, volleyball, building sandcastles, shoreline fishing, treasure hunts, cinema afternoons and even baking with the chef are complimentary. Optional activities such as horse riding, snorkeling, and a world-class interpretive diving experience are also available.
Best time to visit White Pearl Resorts
Mozambique enjoys a tropical climate, with plenty of sunshine throughout the year. The average temperature is around 28°C and the weather along the coast is sunny and warm, even in mid-Winter. The country has two seasons. A wet season (from October to March) and a dry season (from April to September). With very little variation in temperatures between the two.
Getting to White Pearl Resorts
White Pearl Resorts is about 80km south of the country’s capital city, Maputo. And 25km north of the Kosi Bay / South Africa border. From Maputo, you can choose the road or helicopter options. We’d suggest a one-way helicopter transfer and then doing the road transfer the other way. This is entirely up to you.

A charter helicopter transfer service is available from Maputo International Airport to White Pearl Resorts.
