The setting for your wedding is all important and Ambre with its white sandy beach, crystal clear waters, and beautiful scenery is one of the best.

Ambre’s policy is one wedding a day. Therefore, the resort’s wedding planner is always on hand to make the process, a smooth and enjoyable one.

For a legal wedding in Mauritius, a minimum 6 working days stay is required to do the legalities.

There are three wedding packages to choose from at Ambre Mauritius. The first of which is also suitable for Renewal of Vows Package (and FREE!).

Weddings and Renewal of Vows Ceremonies are not available on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public holidays

Ambre “Your wedding, our Gift” Package – For legal weddings or renewal of vows

If you stay for three nights or more, your wedding can be a gift from us. We believe in giving a wonderful start; to what we all hope will be the most beautiful journey of your life.

Picturesque ceremony setting, chosen by you
Dedicated resort Celebration Specialist to assist you in coordinating and planning your wedding
Ceremony set up including two banquet chairs, the signing table, and drapes
Exquisite seasonal bridal bouquet and groom’s buttonhole
A single tier wedding cake for two
Bottle of sparkling wine to toast
Pre-recorded romantic musical accompaniment to your ceremony
A romantic dinner for the wedding couple in a specialty restaurant with a three-course plated menu. Excluding drinks when on half board or full board meal plans.
Celebration in-room breakfast on the morning of your choice

Ambre Wedding in the Sun Package Rates and Inclusions

Wedding Package Cost: € 615 / R11,945 per couple (South African rate based on fluctuating exchange rate)

A dedicated Celebration Specialist to assist you in planning and coordinating your wedding
Ceremony set-up including two banquet chairs, the signing table and drapes, and tropical floral decors
Exquisite seasonal bridal bouquet and groom’s buttonhole
A single tier wedding cake for six
Bottle of sparkling wine to toast
Pressing of bride’s dress & groom’s suit (depending on fabric and design)
Seasonal fruit basket in room upon arrival
Bride’s make-up at the hotel’s spa
Pre-recorded romantic musical accompaniment for your ceremony
A romantic dinner for the wedding couple in a specialty restaurant with a three course plated menu. Excluding drinks when on half board and full board meal plans.

Expert advice and support from a resort Celebration Specialist throughout the planning process
Ceremony set-up including two banquet chairs, the signing table and drapes, and tropical floral decors
Exquisite seasonal bridal bouquet and groom’s buttonhole
A single tier wedding cake for six
Bottle of champagne to toast
Pressing of bride’s dress and groom’s suit (depending on fabric and design)
Seasonal fruit basket in room upon arrival
Bride’s make-up and hair styling at the spa
Photo package of 50 full color on a USB key
Live music duo during your ceremony

The packages do not include the cost for legalities or officiant so these will be added when we quote you. To give you an idea, here are some costs:

Celebrant for Renewal of vows or Symbolic Celebrations (incl. transport): from € 370 / R7,561
Translator during Ceremony German | Spanish | Russian | Italian (incl. transport): from € 370 / R7,561

Legal fees: The fees of the legal administration, attorney fee, formalities, an affidavit; and also transport for the intended married couple and civil officer: from € 675
