Mozambique is the perfect honeymoon destination and accommodation ranges from very basic to ‘ultra luxury’ island resorts. We focus more on the Archipelagos – Bazaruto and Quirimbas Archipelago. Here you can find the most incredible scuba diving and fishing. Access to the Bazaruto Archipelago is via Vilanculos. And the Quirimbas Archipelago is Pemba.
Other incredible coastal resorts are also down south of the Archipelago. These are more accessible and slightly cheaper. Some of the Southern Beaches in Mozambique are Ponta d’Ouro, Ponta Mamoli, Ponta Malongane, and Inhaca Island. A little further up the coast, is Inhambane and Tofu.
Getting around and the best time to holiday in Mozambique
Distances in Mozambique are vast and roads are not always in the best condition so many people fly in. However; roads are improving. This is where we come in to assist so your trip is less stressful. Saying that though; most people only visit one resort and do all their activities from there.
The best time to visit is June to October as this is the dry season. The perfect time for a beach holiday in Mozambique. There is usually little to no rain and daytime temperatures reach over 30°C by day.
