Leeu House is an exclusive and private 12 room five-star destination, in the scenic Franschhoek valley in the Cape Winelands. An oasis of comfort and luxury, Leeu House’s appeal is its country boutique guesthouse feel on the main street of vibrant Franschhoek village; within easy strolling distance of award-winning restaurants, art galleries, boutiques, and many other attractions. Leeu House also showcases a number of important contemporary artworks and sculptures from various countries.
Leeu House is an adult-only property and cannot accommodate children aged 17 and under; exceptions can be made when booking the property on an exclusive-use basis.

The Classic Rooms at Leeu House are an average size of 32m²/344ft². They are spacious and comfortable and offer easy access to the Lounge, Conservatory, and Pool area. Two of these four comfortable and spacious rooms have full bathrooms; separate walk-in showers and bathtubs. While the other two rooms have large walk-in showers. These rooms have garden views.

The 59m²/635.07ft² Leeu House Suite is located separately from the main building. It has a lounge area with a fireplace and a walk-in closet with a sit-down vanity desk. The secluded outside seating area offers views of the tropical paradise-inspired Leeu House pool and the mountains. Here too is the perfect place to consider sculptor Dylan Lewis’s Leopard On A Rock.

The on-site restaurant at Leeu House offers all-day dining to resident guests only in The Conservatory. Or al fresco on the terrace; seating up to 24 people.

This is the sister restaurant to La Colombe in Constantia. Multiple award-winning chef Darren Badenhorst pilots Le chêne in the Manor House at Leeu Estates, serving French-inspired dishes. And at the other sister, Le Quartier Français; Protégé is a casual-style eatery under the guidance of celebrity chef Scot Kirton.
