Being on the slopes of Table Mountain, means you have easy access to either use the cable car. Or for the adventurous; hike up the mountain. A short drive from The Cellars-Hohenort is the acclaimed Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. With its treetop canopy walkway, affectionately named The Boomslang or tree snake.
The Table Mountain National Park stretches all the way to Cape Point, on the edge of the peninsula. Journey here for staggering seaside cliffs, pristine mountain walks, and white sand beaches. Not to be missed is Boulders Beach, where beach-goers share the sand with endangered African penguins. The penguins can also be viewed in the protected areas via a boardwalk.
