The Plettenberg (Garden Route)

Double Rooms (30-45m2):

These 8 x twin or double-bedded rooms offer the same exceptional style and décor found in the suites and luxury rooms and have views of the surrounding area. A maximum of two people per room.

Luxury Double (35-70m2):

Each with its own sitting area, bedroom with en-suite bathroom, the 9 x Luxury Double Rooms are individually decorated to reflect the marine environment surrounding the hotel. Views over the immaculate gardens at The Plettenberg vary between each luxury double room. A maximum of two people per room.

Luxury Double with Sea View (38-54m2):

Overlooking the gorgeous Plettenberg Bay and surrounding ocean; the 6 x Luxury Double Rooms with Sea View each offer their own perspective of the area.
Each room is as unique as its view. With a sophisticated individual decor scheme and offering the ultimate in comfort with a sitting area, and a walk-in shower.
Guests can enjoy the gorgeous hues of sunset here from their private step-out balconies and get a closer view when pods of whales or dolphins move in towards the bay. A maximum of two people per room.

Suites (48-70m2):

With tasteful decor inspired by the surrounding views of Plettenberg Bay, the 5 x Suites each offer an individual palette for guests to enjoy. An open-plan lounge and bedroom with an en-suite bathroom offer luxury and comfort for guests; allowing them to relax and enjoy the hotel and service. A maximum of two people per room.

Premier Suites (50-78m2):

With 7 x individually decorated Premier Suites from which to choose at The Plettenberg, guests are sure to enjoy all the variations of these rooms. Each Premier Suite offers a view over the surrounding area which can be enjoyed from a private step-out balcony opening up through French doors. They all offer an open-plan lounge and bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. In addition; one Premier Suite also features direct access to the pool area. A maximum of two people per room.

Beach House (150m2):

The Beach House is situated next to the hotel’s main building. It makes the ideal five-star private getaway for family or friends. While still having access to all the main hotel facilities. The Beach House consists of 2 x en-suite bedrooms, a large sitting room with a fireplace, a dining room, and a small service kitchen.

The main bedroom leads onto a sundeck and private heated swimming pool; with spectacular views of the Plettenberg Bay beach and surrounding mountains. Children of all ages are welcome.

The villa also comes with flat-screen televisions, satellite TV channels, and DVD players.

Lookout Villa (190m2):

The Lookout Villa enjoys a view of magical sunrises, whales breaching (in season), and pods of dolphins the whole year-round. Gentle sandy and ocean colors filter through the house with a mix of textures and lighting that create a warm and relaxing atmosphere.

The main bedroom boasts an incredible view and leads out onto the deck and private pool. The open-plan lounge and dining room are on a split level. From here you can also enjoy beautiful ocean views. There is a well-stocked galley kitchen, private heated swimming pool, and garden. As well as flat-screen televisions and DVD players, satellite TV channels, and Wi-Fi throughout. All of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Children of all ages are welcome.

On request and subject to availability; an extra bed for a child under the age of 12 can be placed in a Suite or Premier Suite. An additional cost will be levied, this is inclusive of breakfast for the child.

A family suite within the Blue Wing annex is the ideal private space ideal for small families. The family suite includes 2 bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom, 2 lounges, and a dining room. The Blue Wing at The Plettenberg is removed from the bustle of the main hotel and has its own private garden suites and swimming pool overlooking the beach and rock pools below.

The laughter and fun memories made on any family holiday live on for years to come. The Plettenberg likes to make sure that all of those memories are as happy as they could ever get. This is achieved by adding a few small touches to guest rooms and suites whenever a family arrives. Board games, soft toys, and snug gowns that actually fit children are also provided. A few beach toys are included along with beach towels for when your family heads down to spend an afternoon building sandcastles. We know how much fun bath time is too; so a few added children’s toiletries lighten up the bathroom!

Of course, there are evenings to consider too, so a selection of children’s DVDs are also available in your guest room to keep the children entertained. Babysitters can also be arranged on request, allowing parents the chance to enjoy a romantic dinner.
