Surrounded by the vivid colors, captivating sounds and soothing rhythms of the bush, it awakens a spirit of discovery while restoring the senses.
The lodge combines the romance of a tented camp and bush lodge. The interiors seamlessly incorporate polished wood and natural fibers in cool tones. All these elements are brought to life by the rich, golden glow of vintage brass, hand woven baskets, khaki canvas and exposed thatch.

Their in-depth knowledge of the area. And the inherent role of every plant, insect, bird, mammal, predator and season in its unique ecology makes every encounter and sighting all the more meaningful. And elevates each connection with nature.

Stargazing
There is perhaps no more transcendent experience than looking up at a full sky of sparkling stars.
Man has had a love affair with the nighttime sky for centuries and with very little pollution and no city lights to detract from the stars, your view of the heavens here will be crystal clear. Nothing between you and the vast African sky above.
Wellness
Offering the luxury of unfiltered time and space, the African wilderness is the ultimate setting for complete unwinding. At Singita, the enduring purpose to restore the land and its wildlife extends to offering healing experiences to its guests at every touch point. The dedicated treatments in the massage spaces tap into the profound benefits of indigenous wisdoms and essential oils that relax, replenish and revive. Each tailor made therapy can be customized and timed to preference. Ensuring a completely personalized experience.
The massage menu has been designed to immerse guests into their beautiful surroundings. And all treatments incorporate that peace and vibrant energy to revitalize and nourish the soul.
Yoga
You will find a dedicated yoga mat in your suite as well as a card to guide you through a relaxing sequence in the privacy of your room or on your deck. Singita also offer Vinyasa and Yin yoga practices with trained practitioners. Simply ask the front-of-house staff to check availability, then book and join a session.
Known for seamlessly synchronizing movement with breath, Vinyasa is a flowing style of yoga that moves from one posture to the next using muscular engagement. Yin is a meditative practice focusing on passive, long-held poses – often with the support of props like blocks and bolsters. It helps to improve flexibility, reduce stress, quieten the mind and foster mindfulness.
Gym
Fully equipped fitness centers are available for guests’ convenience. Each facility provides picturesque views of the bush. Allowing you to keep an eye on the action outside while you work out.
Swimming Pool
Not only do you have a private pool at your suite, there is also an idyllic swimming pool at the main lodge area. Cool off during the heat of the day in the cool and calming water overlooking the beautiful landscape. You may even catch a glimpse of wildlife from the cool water that overlooks the pristine bushveld.
Wining and Dining
Creative and delicious creations are available throughout the day. And while the inspiration for the preparation and plating of these meals might be traditional (classic French cooking methods, beautiful but simple presentation); the ingredients can be much more innovative and nutritious.
Tried and tested flavor combinations are paired with mouthwatering “superfoods”. Making more healthy options than ever available at meal times. For example, breakfast features a raw, sugar and fat-free granola. As well as a decadent honey roasted seed and nut option to have with seasonal fruit. Freshly pressed vegetable juice, wheat grass and kombucha are served alongside a selection of premium coffees and teas to suit every palate.
As ever, the dietary needs of our guests are always considered, and specialty menus are designed regularly by the chefs to take any and all preferences into account.
Wine Experience
Singita is recognized as one of Africa’s most influential collectors of wine. With an extensive cellar showcasing a premium selection of wines. Including some of the continent’s most sought after private reserves, exclusive release, limited single vineyard and rare auction wines. It’s safe to say that wine is a key ingredient of the unique Singita experience.
The Singita wine list has received numerous awards of excellence, the top Diners’ Club Wine List accolade. As well as recognition from countless other local and international organizations.
Personalized wine tastings within the unique ambience of the lodge’s own temperature controlled cellar are a true guest favorite. For connoisseurs and casual tasters alike. Singita’s experienced sommeliers are able to guide guests through a variety of wine styles, years and cultivars to find the wines most suited to their individual tastes.
As with all that Singita does, community upliftment is central to the Singita wine program as well. François Rautenbach has created a special training program for enthusiastic young wine lovers. Developing the next generation of sommeliers for Africa.
Community Upliftment and Sustainability
In South Africa, the Singita Lowveld Trust manages a wide range of conservation projects in Singita Sabi Sand and Singita Kruger National Park. From anti-poaching initiatives to wildlife research & land management. Sustainability efforts and community partnership projects such as early childhood development, digital learning and a world-class culinary school.
A highly skilled team of tracking dogs and handlers enhance anti-poaching efforts in the Sabi Sand Reserve. While the Trust’s partnership with the global conservation NGO Panthera has shown that the area is home to the largest density of leopards of any protected area surveyed in South Africa. The Panthera’s Furs for Life project, of which Singita is a partner, has reduced the demand for leopard skins with 50%.
Best Time to go on Safari
Southern Africa is a year round destination. Traditionally the dry winter months (April to October) are best for game viewing. This is due to the shorter grass, lack of foliage and the absence of water. This forces the game to concentrate around the remaining sources of drinking water.
Annual rainfall, usually in the form of short afternoon thunder showers that clear up within an hour, occur from December to March. Many species give birth to their young around the start of the rains, so the bush is alive with newborn animals.
To ensure your comfort you may want to tailor your clothing choices to the time of year:
October to April:
The weather is warm during the day and cooler in the morning and evenings. We recommend casual summer clothes (shorts and cool shirts) and a warm jersey/sweater for the cooler times of day.
May to September:
This is fall and winter and the temperature will be mild during the day, but colder in the mornings and evenings. We recommend casual light clothing and a very warm parka/jacket for the extremely cold mornings and nights.

The short hop flight from Nelspruit to Singita Sabi Sand is approximately 30 minutes.
Alternatively, we can arrange road transfers from Nelspruit, Skukuza or Hoedspruit.
