Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is renowned for its romantic stilted tree house suites. Hidden away high in the trees in a secluded corner of Lake Manyara National Park. It offers a sophisticated blend of natural indulgence. These are shaded by a mahogany forest and it is the only permanent luxury lodge in the park.
Lake Manyara National Park offers a true wilderness experience in diverse habitats. From its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara is most well known for its huge flocks of flamingos and its tree climbing lions. But, there’s much more that makes it well worth a visit. Not far from the Ngorongoro Crater on the shores of Lake Manyara, is a belt of precious wilderness reserve some 100 km long that provides sanctuary for an abundance of pink flamingos which feed in the shallows of the lake. As well as tree climbing lions, giant elephants, gentle giraffes, proud buffaloes and herds of graceful antelope. The forest areas of Lake Manyara National Park are home to many species of exotic playful monkeys and colorful, rare birds.
The Lodge is designed to have minimal impact on the environment. And offers an exclusive interpretive safari; in a more remote area of the National Park. Gentle Tanzanian hospitality is exuded by the team who have a passion for delighting guests. Whether you are on a honeymoon or a family safari.
