Each of the 18 x Manor Cottage Suites has its own private entrance and adjoining private sun terrace. There are 9 x cottages so 2 suites per cottage. A double open-fronted log burning fireplace divides a room interior that mirrors the traditional Cape Dutch architecture. The en suite bath and shower room have a Victorian style claw-footed bath, as well as twin vanity basins and a large ‘rainfall’ shower. There is nothing like returning from a day out on safari to a hot bubbly soak in your Victorian bathtub.

An exclusive family unit, The Stable Cottage is located to the rear of the riding stables, separate from the main Manor house. It has 3 x guest bedrooms with 3 x bathrooms. Guests can dine privately, and be thoroughly immersed in the enjoyment of those all too rare family holidays.

Game Drives in Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area
Ngorongoro Crater is unofficially the “Eight Wonder of the World”. Visitors will understand instantly when they reach the first viewing point on the lip of the crater. And take in the majesty of the ecological wonder.
The Ngorongoro crater is a breathtaking sight, and firmly deserves the unofficial title of “eighth wonder of the world”. The crater floor is a Garden of Eden for wildlife viewing with one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa. Lions, elephants, buffalo, impala, cheetahs, black rhinos, serval cats, hyenas, jackals, and zebra. To name just a few.
Descending to the floor of the crater, guests are treated to a magnificent wildlife spectacle as they traverse a variety of landscapes. Open grasslands dotted with game, soda lakes colored pink with flamingos, and dense riverine woodland. With the rising walls of the crater framing every view. There is a resident population of Ngorongoro lions, as well as wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, and rhino.
The Manor has special permission to host bush lunches in a private campsite area of the Crater. Away from the crowds. The Crater lunch sites are subject to availability. All Manor lunches in the Crater (regardless if in a private campsite location) are gourmet hamper affairs. Under a shady awning from the side of the car, with tables and chairs.

Exclusive Use Safari
Guests can enjoy an exclusive-use vehicle with experienced driver-guide for the day. Should guests wish to stay out all day, this exclusive-use vehicle includes the option of a picnic hamper. Selected drink refreshments are also included within the vehicle.
For keen photographers, seats can be removed to allow for additional space for photographers to move around. The two front seats can be replaced with a mattress for photographers that want low angle shots. The vehicles are suitable for both amateur and professional photographers. Day Excursions Lake Manyara National Park or Olduvai Gorge
Lake Manyara National Park is known for its astounding variety of landscapes for its relatively smaller size compared to other well known parks on the Northern Tanzanian circuit. From dense forests to soda lake wetlands, open grasslands, and acacia thickets, the variety is superseded only by the variety of wildlife found throughout.
In each variety of landscape, unique animals are found, from bushbuck and blue monkeys in the forest, antelopes, and cheetahs in the grasslands, hippos, and flamingos in the wetlands, and tree-climbing lions and elephants in the acacia woodlands.
Olduvai Gorge is one of the most important paleo-anthropological sites in East Africa and is famed as the place where Louis and Mary Leakey made some of the most important discoveries of early hominids. A still active excavation site, visit the place where some of the earliest hominids lived and breathed.
