The SkySafari East Africa is a luxury flying safari combining Kenya and Tanzania. One seamless, epic journey… From the heat hazed, star streaked Kenyan savannah, teeming with wildlife to the highlands of Northern Tanzania. Home to the continent’s highest mountain, the planet’s largest intact caldera, vast golden plains, and truly enormous skies.
No where does wildlife like Kenya and Tanzania. We’ll fly you to the best of both. This is where you’ll find wilderness on a mind-blowing scale. Big skies, big herds, big mountains, Big Five, and big drama.
This carefully curated flying safari will deliver the deepest, most engrossing East Africa immersion. Everything has been thought of. Luxurious lodges, executive planes, smooth transfers, and the most incredible locations. Every last detail is covered, so all you have to do is relax into your trip of a lifetime.
Touch down in Amboseli National Park, where you can watch huge herds of elephants and a vast cast of creatures roaming in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Take off for Laikipia’s ground breaking Loisaba Conservancy. Where community-focused conservation helps preserve landscapes as dramatic as they are biodiverse. Then fly right into the wildest shows on earth. You’ll have front-row seats for all the animal action in both the magnificent Masai Mara and the boundless Serengeti. Finish in the great, gaping crater of Ngorongoro. A UNESCO listed basin brim full of wildlife, known as the ‘eighth wonder of the world’.

Major advantages of the SkySafari East Africa
The SkySafari East Africa fly-in trip gives you more of that most precious thing: time. Using SkySafari’s fleet of small, smart planes. Rather than on scheduled flights. Scheduled flights make stops at other camps before you get to your lodge airstrip. On SkySafari, there’s no needless waiting or stops en route. You’ll be whisked straight into the wilderness. SkySafari East Africa means you’ll spend almost a day less traveling.
Fly with SkySafari and there’s no needless waiting around or airport tedium. You’ll be driven straight onto runways to board the elegant aircraft, which seat only nine passengers. Sink into luxe white leather seats with a glass of chilled champagne. You’ll get a greater allowance for your luggage (20kg plus 3kg hand luggage*) and more space to relax. And soar straight to your next wilderness destination. No stop-offs or detours eating into your adventure.
*Normal flights for safaris have a 15kg luggage allowance.
Know that you’ll be treading lightly, too. Each of the trips contributes to Land & Life, a foundation committed to a sustainable future that sees local communities benefit from tourism, safeguarding nature for the next generation.
Why not stay a little longer?
We know that Africa is apt to get under your skin; you probably won’t want to leave. So we’re happy to help you extend your stay beyond the regular SkySafaris, in whatever way you choose.
We can organize additional time at any of the opulent Elewana Collection properties (or any other properties). Perhaps you’d like to spend longer in the Masai Mara to maximize your immersion in the Great Migration? Or maybe you’d like extra days in one of East Africa’s unique conservancies, so you can fit in more activities. Perhaps a camel trek, river raft or hot-air balloon ride?
We can also arrange some well earned R&R by the ocean. After all those early starts on safari, you might fancy a few days – or weeks – simply lazing on the beach. And we know just the spots.
Kenya’s Elewana Afrochic Diani Beach* sits right on one of the country’s most dazzling stretches of sand. With only ten elegant rooms, it’s an intimate escape, where you can lounge by the pool, snorkel teeming coral reefs, drift off on dhow cruises, and watch humpback whales pass by.
*Currently closed for a major refurbishment.
Head for Elewana Kilindi Zanzibar, arguably the spice island’s most romantic retreat. Sink into one of its dreamy pavilions (each with a private plunge pool and butler) and unwind amid the coconut palms and casuarina trees. Have a post-safari pamper in the spa, explore the ocean by kayak, paddle board, or boat, and toast your trip with a candlelit dinner on the beach.
Whether you want more time in the bush or on the beach, we can make it happen.
