The Victoria Falls Hotel has to be one of the most exclusive and romantic venues in the world to get married. With its own unique chapel, beautiful lush gardens; overlooking the magnificent Victoria Falls Bridge and Gorge. We will take care of your every need and ensure that your wedding is very special.
The Victoria Falls Hotel’s bedrooms have been refurbished to provide a perfect balance of modern amenities; without losing the grand Edwardian architecture. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the center of Victoria Falls Town. And just a ten-minute walk along the hotel’s private path from the actual Falls.
Please note due to logistical constraints; the Hotel will only do weddings when the Bride and Groom and at least 50% of guests attending have booked and confirmed accommodation at the Hotel. The Hotel cannot accommodate weddings during the peak season unless the hotel is booked on an exclusive-use basis. Peak season includes: August, September, October, 24th December – 10th January, or the Easter Weekend.
The hotel offers beautiful gardens for photos after the ceremony. Guests can enjoy sparkling wine or champagne, or canapés and tea after the ceremony.
Victoria Falls Hotel Wedding Package
Our Wedding Package is from US$850 for the couple (subject to change) and is inclusive of the following: Administration costs involved in organizing the wedding. All documentation for the drawing up of the License; revenue stamps; attending to Legal Matters with our local authorities concerning the Marriage. Arrangements with the local Priest or Magistrate for the solemnization of the Marriage and the drawing up of the License. Pressing of Bride and Groom’s Wedding Apparel by the Valet. Upgrade to one of the Honeymoon Suites (subject to availability) at Deluxe Room Rate. Complimentary wedding couple room on the night of the wedding (all size weddings) Romantic turn-down on the wedding day. 1-night complimentary parents’ room on the day of the wedding when 50 or more people are staying at the hotel for the wedding.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE ACCOMMODATION – we will send this to you once you send your requests. This is because rates can fluctuate and vary depending on the number of guests.
N.B. Payment in the amount of USD50 will need to be made direct to the Priest or Magistrate; as a Marriage Officer’s service charge and should the magistrate come from Hwange; a mileage fee will be charged in addition. Please note this rate is in accordance with AA rates.
Wedding Service Venues
Your Wedding Service can be in the Hotel Chapel for up to 20 x people or for larger parties, on the lawns, overlooking the Victoria Falls Bridge and Gorge. There are alternate venue options at the hotel. Depending on the number of people in your party, we’ll make recommendations on what will be the most suitable.

Note: During the rainy season a rain backup plan is essential for all outdoor venues.
Wedding Reception Venues
Choose from a brunch reception on Stanley’s Terrace to lavish dinner receptions in the Livingstone Room. We can arrange wedding receptions from 2 people up to 180 people.
Charges are on request. The reception charge is for standard hotel table configuration and setup. Let us know if you would like any other configuration or setup. All functions must end at 11.30 pm.

Pampering before the Wedding
There is an on-site Hair Salon and Spa. Please bring pictures of what hairdo you would like done and any special hairpins to match your dress. Prepare and unwind before your big day at the on-site Spa.
Photography
A photographer can be arranged for your Special Occasion by the hotel. This is an outsourced service and a separate quote will be provided by the service provider.
