Cape Town is a city often lauded as one of the world’s finest. Stay 3 nights at Mount Nelson in Cape town, and 4 nights at either Belmond Botswana lodges for a 7 night itinerary. Or stay 4 nights at Mount Nelson Hotel and 6 nights at either Belmond Botswana lodges for a 10 night itinerary.
This is the 7 night itinerary which can be also be done starting in Botswana. Just let us know your international flight details and we’ll plan the rest.
Day 1-3: Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town and meet with your driver for the transfer to your hotel. Your stay includes 3 nights at the Mount Nelson, including breakfast. We will customize your Cape Town experience. Choose from day excursions to the Cape winelands, the Cape Peninsula, and Robben Island, to name a few ideas. For the more adventurous, you can hike Table Mountain, paraglide, kayak with the penguins, enjoy a scenic helicopter flight, or ride a Harley along the coastal roads.
Mount Nelson Hotel
Find an oasis of calm at Mount Nelson, a Belmond Hotel in the heart of Cape Town. Its legendary pink buildings and lush gardens lie beneath the gaze of Table Mountain. Enjoy light, airy rooms spread across six historical wings, imaginative local cuisine, and an array of unique experiences.

Day 4-5: Moremi Game Reserve
Fly out of Cape Town to Maun, Botswana (not included). Arrive Maun for the scheduled charter flight to the Delta. Once at the airstrip, you are met by the Eagle Island Lodge safari guide and transfer to camp. Your stay includes all your meals, selected beverages and the shared game viewing activities.
The Okavango Delta offers a unique blend of adventure and serenity, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and wildlife lovers alike. From thrilling game drives to tranquil sunset cruises.
Set off on a new adventure each day and get up close with elephant, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, big cats and more. Depending on water levels, head out before dawn by mokoro, encountering swooping African fish eagles and basking crocodiles.
Back at camp, your luxury tented room is equipped with a daybed, desk, fully-stocked minibar and discreet air conditioning. An en-suite bathroom features a walled outdoor shower with a window overlooking the delta, a large indoor bathtub and walk-in wardrobe.
Eagle Island Lodge
Eagle Island Lodge is a sustainably designed and built sanctuary that takes you magically close to the Delta’s rich wildlife. Drift through the watery landscape on a mokoro canoe, spotting hippos and kingfishers. Or fuel your adrenaline with a thrilling helicopter and horseback safari. This is where the incredible Okavango Delta floods each year. Attracting a breathtaking diversity of wildlife. It is both a water and land camp with water good water levels between June – September. It is on a private concession on Xaxaba island therefore you can enjoy night drives, off-roading and walking safaris.
Flooded with light by day, the air conditioned safari accommodation is indulgently cozy at night. Unwind in the soothing grey interior, punctuated by flashes of deep gold. Or stretch out on the oversized bed, framed by a stunning copper headboard. Best of all, each tented room boasts its own plunge pool and a private deck. Both are perfect for soaking up the scenery.

Day 6-7: Savuti – Chobe National Park
After breakfast, you are transferred to the airstrip for the scheduled charter flight to the next camp, Savute Elephant Lodge. Your stay includes all your meals, selected beverages and the shared game viewing activities.
Early morning and afternoon game drives let you encounter Africa’s largest elephant population. You may also spot lions, wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs and hyenas. Enjoy rare sightings of rock-climbing klipspringers and elegant roan. Depending on the season, you may also catch the second largest migration of zebra in Africa.
Head out to the unique viewing hide at dusk or dawn, overlooking the watering hole, and see elephants, hyenas and cheetahs in their element.
Savute Elephant Lodge
Savute Elephant Lodge is one of the most luxurious lodges in Botswana. Boasting an exemplary Eco-friendly design, luxurious spa, and viewing hide. It enjoys a prime location on the banks of the Savute channel. Not far from the Savute Marsh that is famous for the large Marsh pride of lion. Elephants are, not surprisingly, the found in large numbers. The majestic inhabitants are drawn to the mysterious Savute Channel, which flows and dries up seemingly at whim. With great views over the channel and a constant stream of animals arriving to quench their thirst, this is a fantastic spot. Game viewing can be enjoyed from the pool, the hide, the dining room and even your private deck.
Savute Elephant Lodge boasts 12 luxurious air conditioned tented rooms. Each raised on a wooden platform to allow a breathtaking view of elephants in their natural habitat. Stretch out on your four-poster bed, or unwind in your shaded outdoor lounge. Pad out onto your sun-soaked deck for a spot of wildlife viewing, cocktail in hand.

Day 8: End of tour
Today, depending on the time of your flight you may have a morning activity before your flight to Maun. There you will be met and assisted onto your onward flight.
