The Gary Player Country Club and the Sun City Resort have become international landmarks in the hospitality and leisure industry. Gary Player has drawn on his vast experience of playing championship courses around the world to produce a test of both power and finesse. The likes of Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, and Tiger Woods have since discovered the course carefully examines every aspect of the players’ game. Every club in the bag will be tested along the way.
The Lost City’s course required extensive earth-moving, yet amazingly, the finished product appears to have existed as long as the mythical Lost City. The course defies being bracketed into any particular genre – having touches of the mountain, desert, and even a brand of African parkland in its makeup.

Sun City Golf Tour Example Itinerary
This is an example itinerary and we can customize your own tour to match your requirements.
Day 1: Johannesburg – Sun City
Make your way to Sun City Resort (we can arrange car hire or transfers for you). The rest of the day is at leisure – explore the spacious entertainment areas, luxury hotels, beautiful gardens, excellent golf courses, and casinos.
Day 2: Sun City Gary Player Golf Course
Enjoy a round of golf at the Gary Player Golf Course, ranked as the third-best golf course in South Africa. Arguably the most famous golf course in South Africa, it hosts the Nedbank Million Dollar Golf Tournament. This afternoon, enjoy a safari into the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, home to the “Big Five” (optional).

Day 3: Sun City Lost City Golf Course
This morning, play the Lost City Golf Course. Carved out of rocky terrain, this course offers a fantastic golfing experience. This afternoon, spend time relaxing at the Valley of the Waves or enjoy any one of the many activities on offer in the Resort.
