The Kruger Quickie safari is designed for those who are budget conscious and are short of time. This is the best way to explore what the Kruger National Park and Panorama Route has to offer.
This short Kruger Safari tour departs from Johannesburg and is the perfect way to experience the bush. All tours include the scenic highlights of Blyde River Canyon and a stop at the Three Rondawels on the return journey to Johannesburg.
Ever heard the guttural sound of a lion’s roar as you lie safely in bed at night? It touches your very soul. It’s one reason you need to come and visit the magnificent Kruger National Park.
Rising with the animals, resting when they do in the middle of the day. And venturing out again when they begin their hunt for food. The open game drive vehicles provide the very best photographic vantage points. With no barriers between you and the bush. In that way; you really feel the wildness, and indeed the peace and serenity of being out there. Away from the city stresses.
Apart from the Big Five, Kruger National Park is home to 147 different mammals, reptiles, and bird species. You’ll begin the search for them from the moment you arrive in the Park. And with professional guides; your chances of a memorable sighting are greatly increased.
You will be collected from all hotels, guesthouses, private homes, or from the airport in Johannesburg. Driving in an air-conditioned vehicle; via the Highveld farmlands to the picturesque Lowveld and Tremisana Lodge. You may rest in your air-conditioned chalet, have a quick refreshing dip in the pool, or unwind at the bar. Or just relax in the beautiful gardens.
At around 5 pm board the open game drive vehicle for an exciting Big Five sunset drive. Your qualified guide will facilitate your first thrilling opportunity to experience the varied African fauna and flora. Watch the magnificent African sunset. Then after darkness falls, powerful spotlights assist to locate nocturnal animals.
Dinner will be a bush braai /barbecue at the Marula Tree Boma deep in the bush. Overnight in a comfortable, air-conditioned en suite thatch roofed chalets.

Day 2:
Drive to the Orpen Gate of Kruger Park. Your customized open sided vehicle allows for a total wildlife experience. You will not only have time to view wildlife; but also to listen to and smell the African bush and its inhabitants. The absence of windows and the elevated position allow for excellent photographic opportunities. The Orpen/Satara region has the greatest concentration of animals in the whole of Kruger Park. Sightings of the Big Five are guaranteed. You will have a great day of game viewing and bird watching in this truly outstanding wildlife paradise.

Day 3:
Enjoy an early morning sunrise drive on the open game drive vehicle. After a hearty breakfast, it is off to the awesome Blyde River Canyon and stop at the Three Rondawels. Return to Gauteng in the late afternoon. Airport drop off by arrangement.
Panorama Route – Three Rondavels
Tour may be extended by adding on additional nights. Option available to join and end the tour at Hoedspruit or Phalaborwa airports. Plus we can add on to this tour to see other highlights like Cape Town, Victoria Falls, etc.
Accommodation used:
Tremisana Lodge is the largest and leading lodge in the Balule section of Kruger Park. There are a total of 15 x chalets plus a two bedroom Guest House. Every unit is thatched, air-conditioned and has an en-suite (shower, toilet, basin ). There is also a tea / coffee station. Insect-proof screens are fitted on all windows. Plus each bed has its own mosquito net.
There is a splash pool, an open-air boma for dinners around a crackling fire, and a covered Lapa. Overlooking a waterhole. A very beautiful luxuriant garden boasts numerous bougainvilleas, palms, and cycads which give the camp a subtropical tone. Water features add a soothing effect and the overall feel of Tremisana Lodge is very relaxing. At night, the subdued light along the illuminated paved walkways lends a romantic and magical feel to this outstanding camp.
The lodge is serviced by two excellent boreholes. Its proximity to the tar road means Tremisana is easily accessible all year round, including the rainy season. The presence of lions, elephants, and buffalo necessitates the electric fence around the camp.
