Honeyguide Mantobeni Tented Camp is in the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve, between the Timbavati and the Sabi Sand Reserves. Sharing unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park and it is in the heart of Big Five country. So do not be surprised if you hear the whoop of hyenas and the lions contact calling. Or the sounds of elephants roaring through the camp. The camp offers breath taking wildlife experiences, superb cuisine, and service excellence. Enjoy the infinity pool, inside or on comfortable sun lounges. While elephants visit the camp daily for the fresh pool water. A memory that would last a lifetime.
The camp provides guests an idyllic setting in which to relax, refresh and reconnect. The reception area has a large lounge, with indoor and outdoor dining facilities. With a bar and a climate controlled wine cellar. Stocked with a wide range of fine South African vintages to browse through and enjoy. There is also the Honeyguide Spa to add to your relaxation.
The 15 x en-suite tented suites are elevated on a wooden platform nestled in a Tamboti grove and overlooking a riverbed. Creating an experience that is wild, yet luxurious. Designed in such a way as to have minimal impact on the environment. Gauze tent flaps & mosquito nets offer protection from mosquitoes. While still allowing the cool breeze and sounds of the bush to gently lull one to sleep.
The 45 m2 tents offer extra long queen/twin size beds. With quality linen. They can accommodate up to 4 x adults. Daily housekeeping and turn down services are included. Ensuring the guests’ absolute comfort.

Safari Game Drives
Activities include early morning, and late afternoon going into early evening game drives in the vast private concession. These are in open game viewing vehicles. The advantage of game drives in this 23000 hectare concession is that you will not be competing with many others for your wildlife encounter.

Enjoy either a half hour bush walk after breakfast. Or the real enthusiasts can enjoy a 3 hour bush walk in the morning or afternoon.

The Manyeleti Game Reserve feels utterly remote yet is a short road transfer from Hoedspruit Airport. Or a scenic 6 hours drive from Johannesburg. We can also arrange transfers from other points in the region.
