Chobe Safari Lodge is a hotel in Kasane (great for groups) on the banks of the Chobe River. It offers a wide range of activities in the Chobe National Park and beyond. Right on their doorstep; four countries meet (Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Zambia). Therefore, it offers an excellent location to explore Chobe, Victoria Falls, and the Kaza region (ex-Caprivi).
It is close enough to Kasane, Victoria Falls, and Livingstone International Airports. This makes it easily accessible with daily road transfers or flights connecting all these airports with Chobe Safari Lodge.

Chobe Safari Lodge Accommodation:
The accommodation consists of 32 x Safari Rooms, 20 x River Rooms, and 8 x Classic Rondavels. There are 14 x Family Safari Rooms and 2 x Family River Rooms. These have a separate children’s rooms (bunk beds). Therefore, a total of 60 x rooms. For larger groups, you can also use sister lodge, Chobe Bush Lodge.
All the luxury rooms have en suite bathrooms with a bath and a shower. Rooms have air conditioners, satellite TVs, a telephone, a safe, and also a fan.
All the rooms have stunning views of the Chobe River.
Safari Rooms
Sip coffee on the river facing porch. While watching warthogs parading across the lush lawns overlooking the Chobe River. It’s an endlessly entertaining animal parade between adventurous activities!
Each Safari Room has a romantic ball-and-claw bath and walk-in shower. Plus modern perks such as upgraded air conditioning and plug points, WiFi, satellite TV, a coffee machine, and a tranquil verandah to sip it on. The highlight of these rooms remains their spectacular views of the Chobe River and lush grounds.
River Rooms
It’s easy to savor the Chobe’s rumbling hippos and African fish eagles from the River Rooms. This wing sits closest to the main complex of the lodge. And faces a secluded indigenous riverside garden.
Rondavels
These original rooms of old enjoy fantastic Chobe River views. They have been lovingly restored to honor their heritage status. While providing modern amenities to all safari loving guests. All units have WiFi, TV and air-conditioning.
Facilities:
Chobe Safari Lodge offers a large restaurant with indigenous flavors of Africa serving a combination of buffet and a la carte style meals.
Sedudu Bar is famous for the most beautiful sunsets and has its own viewing deck. A cocktail bar overlooks the Caprivi floodplains.
Guests can relax in the large swimming pool or on the pool deck.
The lodge also offers lounge areas with WiFi hot spots, and a curio and craft shop.
Furthermore; there is a health and beauty salon on site. Plus a squash court for those who are feeling energetic.
Activities / Game Viewing:
This is a game rich country where you can expect to see Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Giraffe, Red Lechwe, Puku, Kudu, Impala, Sable Antelope, Crocodile, Lion, Leopard, Hyena, Wild Dog, and Jackal. Because there is so much water around; fishing and birding safaris are also very popular.
Along with many species of big game; Chobe National Park boasts the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. Game drives and boat cruises offer visitors the opportunity to witness this amazing spectacle. While 3 hour photographic boat safaris are also available (cameras can be hired). With 360 degree revolving chairs & adjustable gimble rig swivels.
Also on offer are dinner or sunset boat cruises, private boat hire, Victoria Falls day trips, fishing, scenic flights, and Namibian Village walks.
