AndBeyond Chobe Under Canvas is a mobile safari camp; which moves to a different private site; every few days but it is always based in the Chobe Riverfront area of the Chobe National Park. Although Chobe Under Canvas has a mobile camping atmosphere; the accommodation, service, and food are more in keeping with Botswana’s excellent safari camps. It offers fantastic wildlife; especially at the end of the dry season; and a slightly more adventurous alternative to many of the country’s other lodges and camps.

Semi-permanent and mobile; &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas has a feather light sustainability footprint: No electricity, solar lights, bucket showers, and meals cooked over the coals. Therefore; a truly authentic, impact friendly safari experience.

Accommodation at AndBeyond Chobe Under Canvas:

&Beyond Chobe Under Canvas has five en suite safari tents, positioned at exclusive sites in the northern reaches of the park. Within driving distance of the Chobe River. Each canvas tent has a comfortable double bed. As well as an en suite bathroom with a flush toilet and hot bucket shower; with water delivered on request.

The guest areas comprise spacious tents for dining or simply passing the time between game viewing adventures. With a good book and frosted beer or glass of wine.

Children over the age of 12 are welcome at &Beyond Chobe Under Canvas. The tents are unsuitable for triple occupation. Therefore; children are unable to share a room with their parents.

Pangolin photographic safari boat cruise on the Chobe River (on a minimum of 2 night stay):
Specially tailored for both the photography enthusiast and the wildlife admirer. This complimentary half day adventure gives travelers the unique opportunity for close ups of the magnificent fauna and flora of the Chobe River. The boat is custom-built and fitted with state of the art cameras for every passenger to use. A professional photographer is on board to provide practical advice during your time on the boat.

Child Policy for the package

Child sharing rates apply to children between 6 and 16 years of age. Children aged 5 years and younger do not qualify for the offer and will be quoted on normal rates.
Chobe and Savute Under Canvas: No children under 12 years allowed.
Chobe Under Canvas rate includes one photographic safari on the Chobe River with Pangolin Photo Safaris. Subject to a minimum of 2 night stay
Nxabega Okavango Tented Camp and Xaranna Okavango Delta Camp: Triple room only allows for children under 12 years to share with two adults.
