Our Kwando Botswana Safari Packages enable you to visit different camps in the Okavango Delta. They offer great value for money as they include all accommodation, meals, local drinks, park fees activities, and transport to the lodges.

Kwando camps have a reputation for being positioned in some of the best areas. Therefore they offer excellent safaris. All their Okavango Delta camps are excellent for birding.

The Kwando Concession is a year round safari destination. It is particularly well known for wild dogs. Although all three big cats (lions, leopard, and cheetah) are also found here. Plus from June/ July on wards more game moves into the Kwando Concession in order to access the waters of the Kwando River as the areas to the south and west dry out. You will encounter large wildebeest and zebra herds from June to November.

The Dinare Camps (Mma & Rra) border the Moremi Game Reserve so also have some of the best game viewing in the Okavango Delta.

Okavango Delta Camps and their Activities:

*Fishing is permitted in Botswana between March and December.

Day 1 & 2:

Your safari adventure begins with a twenty minute light aircraft flight from Maun over the southwestern Delta to Moremi Crossing. Or, a 50 minute flight to the Lagoon Camp in the Kwando concession (far north of the Delta). Taking in the magnificence of the winding, papyrus fringed channels that makeup one of the world’s greatest wetland wonders. You will be able to see some of Africa’s most celebrated animals from a bird’s eye view.

The Kwando Private Concession is 40 times larger than Manhattan! It sits on a critical elephant migration route and is renowned for consistent predator sightings in the lush reaches of Botswana’s northern wetlands.

Spend 2 nights at Moremi Crossing Camp or Lagoon Camp

Day 3 & 4

Light aircraft flight from Moremi Crossing to Rra Dinare or Mma Dinare Camps. Or a thrilling 3hr road transfer traversing scenic, game rich areas to Lebala Camp.

The Dinare Camps are in a private concession adjacent to Moremi Game reserve. Allowing for on & off-road game drives with only 6 people per vehicle. On night game drives, you have a driver & a tracker.

Lebala Camp is in the Kwando Private Reserve (private concession).

2 nights at Rra Dinare or Mma Dinare Camps or Lebala Camp

Day 5:

Light aircraft transfer to Maun for your onward travel plans.
