Fully inclusive accommodation situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, within Kwara Reserve. There are two camps at Splash Camp. The main camp and then Splash Enclave which is ideal to use on exclusive use for 6 – 10 people.
Splash Camp offers a very relaxed, friendly, and authentic atmosphere within the Private Kwara Reserve in the Okavango Delta. The area has long been known as Splash due to the huge water crossings that had to be negotiated to access the camp area.
The camp setting, among trees, while overlooking a game productive waterhole, is a stunning location. The Kwara Private Reserve spans an area of 175,000 ha (432,000 acres) and shares a 30km water boundary with the famous Moremi Game Reserve. Its unique location boasts both permanent water and seasonal flood plains as well as extensive dry bush wilderness. Favored by labyrinths of permanent water channels and secret islands this area offers the perfect delta experience (land and water camp year round) and is considered to be amongst the best in Botswana for game viewing and activities.
Splash Camp Accommodation is in a horseshoe shape. Each of the 12 rooms are on decks overlooking a natural waterhole/pan which attracts game year round. All rooms are en suite with a flush toilet, double sinks, and both an indoor and an outdoor shower. 2 of these are family rooms (see below for family policies).
In addition, each room has a private veranda with outdoor lounge chairs providing the perfect place to relax and take in the magnificent views and soak up the atmosphere.
The rooms and main area are simply and elegantly decorated with contemporary furniture, complementing the atmosphere of the camp.
The main area has a plunge pool, bar, and lounge as well as an orientation center and a curio shop.
Just in front, towards the pan is the fire pit where a light breakfast is served each day before heading off on activities, and stories are told after supper in the evenings.
Room Interior
Splash Enclave
There is a second satellite main area (within the camp layout itself) with a plunge pool, dining area, lounge, and bar. This can be booked for exclusive use for groups of 4 – 10 looking for a more intimate experience on safari. Although you are free to explore and enjoy the amenities of the larger camp. Such groups who have booked exclusive use of Splash Enclave will have no age restrictions, making the Enclave the perfect location for larger family bookings. The rooms are identical to the Splash rooms and are part of the 12 rooms in Splash camp itself.
The Splash Enclave offers a private chef, waiter and housekeeper dedicated to the group. A private vehicle. is required. This gives guests a more personal and tailored service and a private schedule. So activities and downtime are planned around the particular interests of the group.
The Splash Enclave is ideally suited to VVIP’s, friends and family, photographic and academic groups, and any safari where you are looking to create a more exclusive experience.

Child policy at Splash Camp:
Minimum age 6 years. Or book the entire camp for exclusive use for all ages of children younger.
When the child reaches 16 years, the full adult rates apply.
Families with children under 12 need to book a private vehicle.
Children have to be at least 12 years of age to take part in mokoro or walking safaris.
Children’s Rates:
Child rates apply to the Family Room*, with a maximum of 2 children staying at the reduced rate per night. Guests under the age of 18 years are not allowed to stay on their own.
*There are 2 family rooms at Splash. Each family room has 2 bedrooms (the second of which is smaller) and one shared bathroom. They are booked on a first come first serve basis and prioritized for families with children under the age of 18. These are for families only; not for triple / quad sharing for adults.
There is one “floating” extra bed in the camp therefore 2 x adults and 3 x children could stay in the family room. OR; this extra bed can be in a standard room to form one triple (2 x adults and 1 x child).
Child policy at Splash Enclave:
Accommodates a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 full paying adults
There is no minimum age for children at Splash Enclave
Children under the age of 18 years must stay with an adult.
Activities:
As Splash Camp is in a private concession, it is possible to do off-road driving in search of sightings. Therefore, they often have been able to follow the wild dogs on their hunts. It also means night drives with spotlights are possible. 30% of fascinating mammals are mainly active at night so you have more opportunities to find them.
Game drives
The mokoro trip is the quintessential delta experience. There is nothing more relaxing than poling along the lagoon and channels with your guide, soaking up the atmosphere, and seeing things from a totally different perspective.
It is also possible to do guided walks all year round. The distance and area for each walk may vary seasonally at the guides’ discretion.
Fishing is offered at Splash Camp for 10 months of the year. This excludes January and February as this is peak breeding season. You will be provided with basic equipment. If you are an avid fly fisher; we advise you to bring your own equipment.
There are double deck boats available at Splash which is the perfect way to travel along the waterways and have a great view of what is going on at the water’s edge and beyond. From August/September until January/February, visits to the nearby heronries currently located in Godikwe and Gcobega lagoons along the main boating channel. The period during which the heronry is active is dependent on the birds’ breeding behavior.
Private Vehicle and Guide
Private vehicles are only available for the full stay at any one camp and not part thereof. Booking a private vehicle includes a guide.
Should you wish to book a specific guide, there is a fee of $325 in addition to the private vehicle. Fees for re-positioning and re-locating the Kwando Private Guide are chargeable based on Moremi Air standard rates.
Private vehicle fees are applied to 4 or fewer guests who book it exclusively. All guests are guaranteed a window seat at all camps and operate a maximum of 6 people per vehicle. 5 or 6 guests traveling together will automatically get a private vehicle at no extra charge. Families with children under 12 are required to book a private vehicle.
Private vehicles are charged based on the number of full paying guests. This number does not include tour leaders, pilots, external guides etc. For example, 4 guests and a tour leader pay the 3-4 guests rate.

Five Rivers Safari Offer
The 5 Rivers Safari runs from 1st December to 15th April every year and offers substantial discounts. Plus no single supplement for the first 2 singles per group. This is a very special time to visit Botswana as it is a time of plenty. Mammals are healthy, and many species bring their young into the world. The bush is emerald green with an abundance of flora and large flocks of migrant bird species. This makes it especially good for photographers.
The 5 Rivers Special has been simplified to offer even more great value. Now with a common price per camp and a common flight rate. To make it even easier to book. The minimum itinerary stay includes a minimum of 2 nights per camp (except it is a minimum of 3 nights for Kwara).
Accommodation until 15th April 2026 is US$ 650 per person per night*
Accommodation from 1st December 2026 – 15th April 2027 is US$ 720 per person per night*
Discounted flights are $ 300 per leg (excluding departure taxes from Maun/Kasane) in 2026 & 2027.

All flying into and out of camps/lodges MUST be with Moremi Air for the 5 Rivers Safari. All 5 Rivers itineraries must start and end in Maun and/or Kasane. The flight rate is a common one way rate that applies to all legs of a 5 Rivers itinerary. E.G. from Maun to Pom Pom, then Lagoon, then Nxai Pan, then Kasane is 4 legs or 4 flights. Therefore, 4 x US$ 300 per person totaling $ 1,200.
The first 2 singles per group do not pay a single supplement on accommodation. Then, a USD 275 per person per night single supplement applies.
Normal nightly rate inclusions apply to the 5 Rivers Safari. The holiday supplements are excluded. These are 3rd to 6th April 2026, 20th of December 2026 to the 4th of January 2027 and 26th – 29th March 2027: $ 150.

Waiver Of Single Supplement
Single Supplements are waived when:
A camp is booked for exclusive use
Scheduled Group Bookings (4 tents or more):
During Secret Season, Green Season, or 5 Rivers for a maximum of 2 singles.
Any additional single clients will pay the single supplement rate.
Standard Bookings:
For a minimum stay of 6 nights for up to two singles in the Secret Season (1st of April to 31st of May & the month of November).
A single supplement is chargeable for all singles in the Flood Season (1st July to 30th September).

Honeymoon Discount at Splash Camp:
Honeymoon couples get a 50% discount for one adult’s accommodation based on the per person sharing rate.
