4 Rivers is Kwando Safaris newest camp in the Okavango Delta. It enjoys exclusive use of the western side of the renowned Kwara Private Concession. In days gone by, explorers whispered of these fabled floodplains. Which teem with plains game. And the predators that stalk them.
This is the great unexplored. A wild and isolated wilderness with stunning biodiversity, a confluence of waterways, open plains, forested islands, and Mopane woodlands. Home to African wild dogs, lions, elephants, leopards, sable antelope and more.
With no other safari camps having access to the area, you won’t be seeing many other vehicles so it provides an exclusive experience. The camp is a short 15 minute drive from its own private airstrip.
The main communal area includes a bar, dining room, curio shop and a selection of smaller lounge areas. Allowing you to enjoy the peace of the Delta. There is also be a swimming pool to cool down in the warmer months. The camp is run completely on solar power with the highest of Eco standards.
Like other Kwando properties, Kwara offers a digital detox experience (no WiFi or cell phone connectivity) allowing its guests to truly enjoy and embrace the natural setting of the camp. All activities are be accompanied by a guide and tracker. The 9 seater vehicles take a maximum of 6 guests.
Kwando 4 Rivers Camp Accommodation
Sitting on raised wooden decks, the camp has 9 x large Meru tents including a family room. The family tent has a smaller second bedroom with it’s own en-suite bathroom for families (see below for family policies). Children are welcome from the age of 6 years old.
Tucked away in ancient woodland, 4 Rivers looks across a permanent small lagoon to Maboa Island. All the tents have indoor and outdoor showers.

4 Rivers Camp Activities
A wide variety of activities are on offer. Including game drives, night drives, walking, and seasonal mokoro trips.
Healthy lion prides, cheetah coalitions, African wild dogs, and herds of elephants ramble the reserve. As well as giraffe, sitatunga and hippos. The sighting success rate is thanks to the overlapping of several habitat types. With extensive grasslands, palm tree lined landscapes, abundant floodplains, and deep channels. With rich riverine forest snaking deep into the Delta. Off-road and night drives are possible too as you are in a private concession.

4 Rivers Child Policy:
The minimum age is 6 years old. If you book the entire camp for exclusive use, children of all ages are welcome.
Full adult rates apply when the child reaches 16 years.
Families with children under 12 need to book a private vehicle.
Children have to be at least 12 years of age to take part in mokoro or walking safaris
The child rates are only applicable when a Family Room is booked. A maximum of 2 x children at the reduced rate per night.
A child under the age of 18 years must stay in a room with an adult.
There is 1 x family room at 4 Rivers. The family room has 2 x bedrooms and 2 x bathrooms. The second room is smaller that the main room. These are booked on a first come first serve basis. They are prioritized for families with children under the age of 18. These are not for triple/quad sharing adults.
There is also one “floating” extra bed in the camp. This can be used in the family room for 2 x adults and 3 x children. OR, this extra bed can be added to a standard room to form one triple (2 x adults and 1 x child). In addition to the family room; only one triple room can be booked on any given night. We will otherwise be exceeding the permitted limit of the concession.

Five Rivers Safari Offer
The 5 Rivers Safari runs from 1st December to 15th April every year. This is a very special time to visit Botswana as it is a time of plenty. Mammals are healthy, and many species bring their young into the world. The bush is emerald green with an abundance of flora and large flocks of migrant bird species. This makes it especially good for photographers.
All flying into and out of camps/lodges MUST be with Moremi Air for the 5 Rivers Safari.
2025 – 2026: The first 2 singles per group do not pay a single supplement on accommodation. Then, a USD 275 per person per night single supplement applies.
Normal nightly rate inclusions apply to the 5 Rivers Safari. Holiday Supplements are excluded.
5 Rivers Safari rates
1st December 2025 to 15th April 2026 Rates:
The 5 Rivers Special has been simplified to offer even more great value. Now with a common price per camp and a common flight rate. To make it even easier to book. The minimum itinerary stay includes a minimum of 2 nights per camp (except it is a minimum of 3 nights for Kwara).

Stay for 2 nights at Chobe Safari Lodge at the full board rate of $650 (for 2 nights).
Or, add 2 nights at The Elephant Camp (Victoria Falls) at the fully inclusive rate of $650 per person per night.
Repeat Kwando Guest Special:
5% discount for guests who have stayed before (not applicable for new travelers in the same booking with repeat guests). The camps and date of stay need to be provided for verification purposes.
This can only be combined with the Long Stay Discount.
Waiver Of Single Supplement
Single Supplements are waived when:
A camp is booked for exclusive use
Scheduled Group Bookings (4 tents or more):
During Secret Season, Green Season, or 5 Rivers, the Single Supplement can be waived for a maximum of 2 singles.
Any additional single clients will pay the single supplement rate.
Standard Bookings:
The single supplement is waived for a minimum stay of 6 nights for up to two singles in the Secret Season (1st of April to 31st of May & the month of November).
A single supplement is chargeable for all singles in the Flood Season (1st July to 30th September).
