Machaba Camps are environmentally friendly safari camps consciously forgoing certain conveniences like hairdryers and aircon. They rely on alternative energy; a hybrid of solar energy and a backup generator; using low energy consuming appliances and light bulbs in order to lighten the load on the planet. No permanent fixtures mean that the campsites can be rehabilitated in 1.5 years. Separate Bio Plants manage the kitchen, laundry, and staff village solids.

Where are Machaba Camp and Little Machaba Camp?

The Khwai Concession is a 35 000 hectare reserve located in the northeastern section of the world famous Okavango Delta which shares its westerly border with the Moremi Game Reserve.
