Hidden deep in the renowned Moremi Game Reserve is Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp. A hymn to sustainable architecture and understated elegance set under the dappled shade of mature ebony and sausage trees. Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp sits amidst 260,000 acres of untamed African bush in a private concession in the renowned Okavango Delta. Bordering the southern section of the famous Moremi Game Reserve. This means guests can do walking safaris and night game drives.
Every detail of this traditional canvas tented camp has been considered to minimize its environmental footprint and sing with contemporary African design. Offset by eclectic antiques that conjure the spirit of the camp’s Victorian namesake. The adventurer, Henry Stanley.
The communal areas include a grand mess tent, the ‘Explorer Lounge’, and a sociable outdoor bar. All of which foster an unrivaled connection with nature. Watch as the big game marches past. Perhaps even catch a glimpse of the rare wild dog. From the rim flow swimming pool, guests can watch giraffes and other plains game marches across the Savannah. This is one of the best places in the world for seeing buffalo in large numbers. With herds often exceeding 2,000. The camp also features a Bush boutique.
