Saguni Safari Lodge overlooks the Mbudi Lagoon, in the game rich area of Khwai in Moremi East region of the Okavango Delta. It is nestled in an island of mature riparian trees, typical of the Okavango Delta. The name ‘Saguni’ is a bushman name for Khwai, meaning “an area with an abundance of game and spectacular sights”.
There is a custom designed common area that opens onto a central deck and fire pit. The bar at Saguni Safari Lodge is well positioned to enjoy views of the lagoon. The inviting campfire is the focal point from dawn to dusk, and it is the perfect place to chat about the day’s adventures. A refreshing dip in the pool is perfect for summer days.
The Team members hail from neighboring local villages surrounding the Okavango Delta and Southern part of the country.
The stylish Forest Tents are discreetly nestled beneath a canopy of ancient trees. These en-suite tents have mesh sides to harmonize with the environment. Without compromising on comfort. Relax on your private deck, an ideal spot for birdwatching or simply soaking in the natural serenity. Featuring twin vanities and a spacious indoor shower, the bathrooms offer a soothing place to unwind after a day on safari.
